Afghanistan placed in group B for the 9th edition of ICC Champions trophy hosted by Pakistan. They will be accompanied by three past winners of Champions trophy title Australia, South Africa and England.

Afghanistan will take on South Africa on 21st February in Karachi when they play against the South African team. Later in they will move to Lahore for their 2nd game of the event against England on 26th February. For their last round match against Australia on 28th February they ll found themselves settled in Lahore to wrap up the league phase.
