England Team Squad/Players List For Champions Trophy 2025

England Team Squad for Champions Trophy 2025 revealed and becomes the first team to announced CT squad. On of the contenders for CT Title England is one of the past winners and would love to have their name again on the winners list.

England placed in group B with Australia, South Africa and Afghanistan and will play their group matches in Pakistan as per the revised schedule of Champions Trophy. Keeping in mind the playing conditions England have recalled seasoned batter Joe Root who last played for England in limited over format an year ago. He is averaging 47 with the bat in 50 over format with strike rate of 86 runs per 100 balls.

Explosive batter Jos Buttler will continue to lead the side in limited format. Test captain Ben Stokes and injury pruned all rounder Jofra Archer are another major recalls to the England CT 2025 squad. Inclusion of wicket keeper Jamie Smith is quite surprising as captain Jos Butler will be keeping wickets with Phil Salt also available in the England CT players list to keep the wickets if required.
