Winner of the 2000 ICC CT event, New Zealand holds the record for the highest team total in the Champions Trophy. They achieved the milestone when they scored 347/4 against a non-test-playing nation, the USA, in the 2004 event. Nathan Astle scored 145, but Craig McMillan provided the real impetus at the later part with a blitz of 27 balls 64 with 7 sixes.
