ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Officials

ICC Champions Trophy due to start from February 19th in Pakistan as a host nation whereas Indian team will play their matches in Dubai. ICC Champions trophy umpires list includes four from England and 2 from Australia 2 whereas 1 each from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, South Africa, New Zealand and West Indies. No umpires from India and Afghanistan are part of the list revealed by ICC.

Kumar Dharmasena

Dharmasena is a former international cricketer from Sri Lanka and was part of the Sri Lankan squad who won the ICC World Cup in 1996. He is a veteran of 132 one day international matches as an umpire

Chris Gaffaney

Gaffaney is a member of the Emirates ICC Elite Panel of Umpires was a former first class cricketer in New Zealand and has officiated 87 ODI matches since making his umpiring debut in 2010.

Michael Gough

Gough has been part of the Emirates ICC Elite Panel and has officiated in 89 ODI matches since 2013. He has also officiated in the 2023 Men’s Cricket World Cup in India.

Adrian Holdstock

Holdstock is from South Africa. Former first class cricketer officiated in the 2023 Men’s Cricket World Cup and has taken the role of umpire in 59 ODI matches since 2013.

Richard Illingworth

Illingworth is a former international cricketer from England and is one of the experienced match officials in international cricket currently. He stood in 93 ODI matches since 2010 which includes high profile alongside final of 2023 Men’s Cricket World Cup in Ahmedabad.

Richard Kettleborough

Kettleborough is another Englishmen featuring in the list of umpires for ICC Champions Trophy event. He has officiated in 108 Men’s ODIs since 2009 which includes the final of last ICC Champions Trophy event in the UK.

Ahsan Raza

Raza is the only representative of Pakistan when it comes to umpires in ICC CT 2025. He has officiated in 55 ODI matches which includes menโ€™s ODI world Cup 2023.

Paul Reiffel

Former Australian all-rounder and member of 1999 world cup winning team Reiffel has officiated in 91 ODI matches which includes 2017 Champions Trophy event.

Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid

Sharfuddoula has officiate din 68 ODI matches since making his debut in 2010. He was also part of umpires who officiated in menโ€™s ODI world 2023.

Rodney Tucker

Tucker is another seasoned umpire with experience of officiating 105 ODI matches since making his debut as an umpire in 2009.

Alex Wharf

David Boon

Boon is a former ODI world cup winner for Australia and after successful international career he joins the ICC panel of referees in 2011 and since than officiated in 176 ODI matches.

Ranjan Madugalle

Madugalle is easily the most experienced match official in international circuit at the moment. Former Sri Lankan international player started his journey as match referee in 1993 and has officiated in 406 One Day international matches so far.

Andrew Pycroft

Pycroft from Zimbabwe started his career in 2009 as an ODI referee after representing Zimbabwe in international cricket. He has officiated 208 matches so far in his career.
