The UAE leg of Champions Trophy 2025 will begin on 20th February 2024. The tournament was shifted to hybrid model due to Indiaโ€™s reluctance to travel to Pakistan. Hence, all matches of Team India were shifted to UAE. On 20th February, India vs Bangladesh match will take place at Dubai.

Both sides are placed in Group A with former champions Pakistan and New Zealand as well. Team India will want to begin the event with a win, because their next two encounters are against relatively better sides. Bangladesh will also try to force an upset over India by utilizing their spin attack in Dubai.

Jasprit Bumrahโ€™s inclusion will be decided based on his fitness.

Bangladesh will have the boost of returning captain Najmul Hossain Shanto. They have in-form batters in the form of Soumya Sarkar, Mahmudullah and Jaker Ali but they will be missing out on the experience of Shakib-al-Hasan. Overall their lineup looks decent and challenging.

Toss

A lot will depend on the weather. With dew factor, it might be a good call to bowl first because later on in the night, it will be hard to grip the ball.
