UAE selected as a neutral venue for India vs Pakistan Champions Trophy game
Days after the ICC confirmed that Hybrid model for the upcoming mega event accepted by both PCB and BCCI a major development took place in finalization of ICC Champion Trophy schedule when UAE selected as a neutral venue for India vs Pakistan Champions Trophy game.
The delay in official announcement for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 schedule only occurring as India is not willing to travel to Pakistan and host Pakistan was not willing to let go its hosting rights completely. A fusion model approved few days ago in which it is decided that both India and Pakistan will play their ICC event games at neutral venues till 2027.
As per the sources ICC Champions Trophy start date is 19th February, whereas high voltage India vs Pakistan match will have held on 23rd February. At Later stages if India qualifies for the semifinals or final of the event than these will also take place on the neutral venue which is more likely to be UAE as well.
